Here’s what ASSIST can do for you
ASSIST is a sexual assault and violence crisis center. Our primary services are indicated across this website. They include:
- Support groups
- STD testing
- Forensic medical exams
- Counseling
ASSIST also operates a Child Advocacy Center providing many similar services for children and families.
Here’s what ASSIST cannot do for you
We are not a shelter, housing authority, or financial assistance service. We are not able to provide:
- Housing assistance or rental assistance
- Heat assistance
- Food and groceries
- Temporary housing or shelter

While we can’t provide many emergency cash or housing services, several organizations around Johnson, Bartholomew, and surrounding counties may be able to.
