Support Groups

All groups are currently on hold. If you are interested in any of the listed groups, please continue to reach out via email. Your name will be added to a notification list, and you will be informed when the groups resume meetings in 2025.

Groups provide an excellent opportunity to connect with others who have experienced similar challenges in a healthy and safe environment. Participants are not obligated to share their trauma but can choose to do so when they feel comfortable. These groups can help individuals develop essential skills for processing trauma and learning how to manage their emotions when faced with triggers.

ASSIST offers a range of educational support groups throughout the year for individuals who have been directly or indirectly impacted by sexual, domestic, or physical violence. If you are seeking a space to connect and heal but aren’t sure where to begin, or if your needs are not met by the support groups listed here, please reach out to Tracy McQueen at 317-739-4456 or tracy@assistindiana.org.
